Problems of Strategic Management of the Resource Potential of the Region, the Ways of Their Solutions

Abstract
In the article, based on the analysis of theoretical and methodological developments of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of rational nature management and environmental protection, the need for a strong relationship between the strategic management of the region and the availability and use of natural resources is justified. The main problems in the organization of strategic management of the resource potential of the Russian regions are identified. The main principles of regional management of the rational use of the resource potential of the territory are singled out. The necessity of integrated strategic management of the region as an ecological, social and economic system is substantiated. It includes all types of resources: natural, financial, industrial, information, human, etc. The main principles and tasks of effective strategic management of the region’s resource potential are formulated.
