Професійне здоров’я як умова успішної соціалізації працівника в ситуації мобінгу [Occupational health as a condition of workers' successful socialization in situations of mobbing]

Abstract
The article analyzes some aspects of the devastating impact of workplace mobbing on teachers' health that complicate teachers' successful socialization. Successful professional socialization is based on teachers' effective adaptation to the professional environment, their resistance to the professional situations and destructions that are real obstacles for professional development and career growth. The author discusses mobbing as a syndrome of destructive professiogenesis referred to as psychosomatic dysfunctions caused by the negative impact of occupational factors, describes determinants of mobbing in the education institution, in particular, features of education communication, status and role distribution, processes in formal and informal groups, as well as individual psychological features of bullies and mobbing victims, and analyzes correlations between mobbing and individual occupational health risk factors (using a specially designed Occupational Health Risks questionnaire). It has been shown that prolonged exposure to workplace mobbing may lead to memory and thinking problems, difficulties in focusing on work tasks and poor work performance. The author concludes that continuous workplace mobbing is a kind of professional destructions that cause somatic and psychosomatic disorders, self-regulation dysfunctions, distortions in the victims' internal picture of health and individual meaning of the profession.
