PROFESSIONAL SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the results of theoretical and empirical research of the process of professional consciousness development on the example of future psychologists. The essence of professional self-awareness is to realize yourself in the system of your own personality, professional activity and communication. The model of psychologists’ professional consciousness development, including cognitive, communicative, operational, motivational and target components, has been singled out. The conducted research made it possible to distinguish between positive and negative tendencies in development of each of the studied components of the model. Correlative analysis revealed connections between both the indicators inside the component of the model of future psychologists’ professional consciousness development, and the components of the model as a whole. It has been proved that the formation of professional consciousness requires sensitive conditions for the qualities development of all components of the model.
