PROFESSIONAL SITUATION MODELLING IN THE PROCESS OF SOCIAL WORK SPECIALIST TRAINING

Abstract

Abstract. The author analyzes modelling as a forming method of professional competence of social work specialists. Modelling in the process of social pedagogics future specialists’ training provides creating the situations of specialist’s professional interaction with a client, situation analysis, decision making and its implementation in artificially created conditions. Modelling method is characterized as a problem method of training. The author offers types of simulated professional situations depending on the level of a problem (situations-illustrations, situations-exercises, situations-problems), development mode (situations of unexpectedness, situations of conflict, situations of assumption, situations of rejection, situations of uncertainty, situations of choice), contradiction evidence (with explicit contradiction, with implicit contradiction), taking into account the aim of educational and cognitive activity (to predict, to optimize, to formalize). The conditions of effective modelling of professional situations in the process of social work specialist training are described: the use of various types of definite situations for professional activity modelling; the record of professional activity structure in the process of quasi professional activity arrangement; systematic modelling of professional situations: a high level of pedagogical skill of a teacher who is capable to transfer to co-authorship of a teacher and students. Modelling of professional interaction situations in the process of professional training of future social work specialists showed high level of effectiveness: in the modelling process students have the opportunity to reproduce repeatedly social work regularity, which creates conditions for their transformation into active players of educational process.
