PROFESSIONALLY IMPORTANT PERSONAL QUALITIES OF THE TEACHER OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE STRUCTURE OF PROFESSIONAL PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCIES

Abstract
Relevance. The introduction of first-generation standards ensured the availability of general requirements for graduates, on the basis of which universities developed educational and methodological documentation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the professionally significant personal qualities of the university teacher in the structure of professional and pedagogical competencies. The method of comparing competencies and analyzing the formulations of competencies allowed us to identify their general nature. As a result of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical research, we determined that an important factor affecting the effectiveness of the teacher's work is his personal qualities. Knowledge of the professionally significant personal qualities of the modern teacher, their role in professional activities contributes to the teacher's desire to improve these qualities, which ultimately leads to qualitative results of pedagogical activity.
