ПРОГНОЗИРОВАНИЕ НЕФТЕГАЗОНОСНОСТИ ОТЛОЖЕНИЙ ПЛИОЦЕНА И МИОЦЕНА НА ПЛОЩАДЯХ ЮЖНОЙ ЧАСТИ АБШЕРОНСКОГО ПОЛУОСТРОВА АТРИБУТНЫМ АНАЛИЗОМ СЕЙСМИЧЕСКИХ ДАННЫХ

Abstract
This paper encompasses the prediction of producibility potential of Pliocene and Miocene reservoir units on Azerbaijan oilfields of Hovsan and Zikh using seismic attribute analysis. The paper includes the critical analysis of currently available exploration methods for hydrocarbon trap, which are mainly used in Azerbaijan. It is believed, that these methods have been depleted in their application and new techniques and methodologies are needed in exploration of complex minor structural (anticlinal) and stratigraphical traps. The complexity of seismic and geological conditions of these types of traps results in the decrease of geological effectivity of 2D seismic exploration, due to the presence of variable directions of reflection surfaces and therefore direction of wave propagation. The paper includes the results of 3D seismic data processing and interpretation that shows high quality in such kind of conditions and the example from Azerbaijan oilfield is provided. In addition the net-pay thickness maps for three productive units, which are the part of the main productive series of Azerbaijan are presented (KaS1, KaS2, KaS3), which are the results of average amplitudes and acoustic impedances utilization. The special part of the paper is devoted to the AVO-analysis, which is the result of intercept and gradient analysis of Shuey approximation to Zoeppritz equations conducted on the seismic slice of Miocene reservoir unit.
