PROTECTION OF THE CARPATHIANS: LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT REALITIES

Abstract
Quality reduction of the environment and the irrational use of natural resource are described in the article. Those problems have caused many environmental and technological problems in Ukraine. The article aims to reveal the essence of technical problems and gaps in the current legislation of Ukraine concerning the regulation of Ukrainian Carpathians. The article focuses on the deepening of the processes of world economy globalization that creates more acute environmental, economic, social and demographic challenges for mountain areas. Methodological and organizational aspects of state policy regulation of the Carpathian region are analysed.
