Abstract
The article presents the results of experimental studies on passenger car fire development with particular emphasis on the speed of the combustion zone movement. Graphs of temperatures in selected locations of the car are presented. The paper includes transition times for fire to pass the partition separating the passenger compartment from the engine compartment and luggage compartment.
