Abstract
The article presents the assumptions of the Mortgage Credit Directive and their expected and potential impact on the market of intermediation services and financial advisory services in the area of mortgage credit in Poland. Due to the far-reaching changes recorded in the MCD its impact on the market counseling and credit intermediation in the field of mortgage loans will be significant. This is indicated by the results of author’s empirical research presented in this article.
