Pseudoscientific Versions of the Origin of Ukrainians and Their Critique by Modern Ukrainian Scientists

Abstract

The article analyzes pseudoscientific versions of the origin of Ukrainians. Critique of these theories by leading domestic scientists is given. It is noted that these theories are a threat to Ukrainian society because through the idea of messianism and Ukrainian exclusiveness they nurture racist sentiments in their supporters.
