Psychological study of the problem of food choice

Abstract

In the article it is proved, that social-psychological research gives the best explanatory model of food choice. It is underlined that social-psychological parameters, such, as a relation or conscious taste after the consumption of certain meal deeper explain the nature of origin of food elections by a person However if to examine the conflict of evaluations in its appendix to the food choice, then contradiction of highly emotional and cognitive is also relevant. It will be that a meal is able to cause emotional and cognitive reactions simultaneously, and the concept of ambivalency relation can be effectively extended, if to absorb for itself a highly emotional and cognitive evaluation.
