Pull-in Voltage Analysis of Fixed Free Cantilever Beam
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
This work focuses on the nonlinear dynamics of fixed-free cantilever beam under electrostatic actuation. Electro statically actuated micro devices experience a fundamental limit on their stable travel range due to a phenomenon called as the pull-in Instability. Accurate evaluation of the pull-in voltages is vital in the design of electro statically actuated MEMS devices. The design simulations of MEMS based micro-cantilever made up of single crystal silicon using FEM (COVENTERWARE) is done. The design of the cantilever structure have been optimized with finite element method based simulation in COVENTERWARE platform.

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator Based Wind Energy Conversion System
Wind energy is one of the world’s fastest growing energy technologies. It is estimated that 16% of the world’s electricity will be harnessed from wind power by 2020. There are many loads (such as remote villages, islands...
Design and Simulation of Dual Band Rectangular Patch Antenna
Today in the communication world patch antennas plays a big role due to its smaller dimensions. Today’s generation require applications on a single device. Here dual band antenna is being presented. The multiband small m...
Non Destructive Evaluation of Trace Elements in Quail (Coturnix Coturnix) Eggs using Color Image Analysis
This paper introduces the nondestructive prediction of the concentration in trace elements of the quail Coturnix coturnix eggs by color image processing. First, the evaluation of zinc, chrome and magnesium elements of qu...
Motive Control for Two Axes of a Radar Station
Radars are primarily used to detect and identify moving objects, so the multi-axis drive system is one of the most important parts that directly affect the quality and versatility of the radar station. In the problem of...
