QSPR on Estimating of Polychlorinated Biphenyls Relative Response Factor using Molecular Descriptors Family
Journal Title: Leonardo Electronic Journal of Practices and Technologies - Year 2004, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
The molecular descriptors family methodology was applied on relative response factor of polychlorinated biphenyls in order to obtain quantitative structure-property relationships. The use of molecular descriptors family allows making of important remarks about nature of the relative response factor property and its causality. The obtained quantitative structure-property relationships can explain over 62% of polychlorinated biphenyls relative response factors.

Placental Morphological and Ultrasonographical Particularities in Post-Term Pregnancies
Post-term pregnancies are evaluated, using 2D and Doppler ultrasonography. Apparition of fetal distress is certified by the increase of PRI. The current study aimed to establish a relationship between the ultrasonographi...
Neuro-Fuzzy DC Motor Speed Control Using Particle Swarm Optimization
This paper presents an application of Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) control for DC motor speed optimized with swarm collective intelligence. First, the controller is designed according to Fuzzy rules such...
Development of a Software Based Firewall System for Computer Network Traffic Control
The connection of an internal network to an external network such as Internet has made it vulnerable to attacks. One class of network attack is unauthorized penetration into network due to the openness of networks. It is...
Reliability Evaluation for Optimizing Electricity Supply in a Developing Country
The reliability standards for electricity supply in a developing country, like Nigeria, have to be determined on past engineering principles and practice. Because of the high demand of electrical power due to rapid devel...
Evaluation of Diesel-Hexanol Blend as Diesel Fuel
The effects of Deisel-hexanol blend were investigated. Diesel and oxygenated hydrocarbon (hexane) are blended in different percentage from 5%-45% by volume. These samples were characterized and the results show that 5%...
