Abstract
The article reviews the changes in the Immigration Legal framework [Estatuto do Estrangeiro and Lei de Imi-gração] to present the challenges faced by qualified migrants in Brazil. Brazilian legal framework overviews the attraction of those professionals, and the strategic contributions to the economy and the country’s inter-national insertion they could make.
