Quality, food and nutrition safety

Abstract
The study presents the state of food safety and commercial quality of selected groups of grocery products. Fish products belong to the group with the highest percentage of tested samples that were questioned. The quality of dairy and meat products were improved. Still there has been some shout downs of units/plants that have not adapted to food safety requirements. In Pomorskie Voivodeship the highest percentage of incompatibilities among food production plants were discovered in Gdynia among some trade units. As the research shows the most beneficial among units in Gdynia, that were controlled by Sanepid, are food mass nutrition units “closed type”.
