Query Clustering method to User profiles
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 12
Abstract
The User profiling is a fundamental component of any personal applications. The several existing user profiling strategies are based on the objects of users are interested in positive references but not negative preferences. We have more focus on search engine personalization and develop several concepts based user profile methods that are bases in both positive and negative preferences. We evaluate the proposing methods against our previously implemented personalized query clustering method. Experimental results shown that profiles which capture and utilize both of the user’s positive and negative preferences perform the best. The separation provides a clear threshold for an together of clustering algorithm to terminate and improve the overall quality of the resulting query clusters.
