When a live intrauterine pregnancy consisting of gestational sac, fetal pole and or yolk sac cannot be visualized, in presence of sufficiently elevated quantitative serum chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) the possibility of all sites of ectopic pregnancies should considered.
