Abstract
Scientific experiments due to safety and ethical limitations regarding research human are often based on animal models. Rats are laboratory animals which are commonly used for these purposes. It should be remembered that morphologi- cal and functional differences between rat skin and human skin may refer to the correct interpretation of scientific results.<br/><br/>
