RATIONALE CRITERIA FORMATION OF PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE BORDER-GUARD OFFICERS

Abstract
In the article the features of professional activity of border-guard officers were investigated. In the course of their operational duties, officers of the State Border Guard Service have to perform certain functions related to the interaction with subordinate border guards. The article shows that each of these functions involves the presence of border-guard officers psychological and pedagogical competence. To study the level of formation of this personal quality in future border-guard officers, it is necessary to allocate criteria for the formation of psychological and pedagogical competence. In the article, based on the analysis of professional functions and using the method of expert assessments, the reasons for these criteria have been substantiated.
