REFORMING OF THE COAL INDUSTRY IN THE CONTEXT OF STRUCTURAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article reflects the main trends in the development of the Ukrainian coal industry. It is concluded that there is no systematic approach to the formation and implementation of public policy in this sector. The necessity of preserving the industry and reforming it in the direction of ensuring breakeven is proved. On the basis of world experience, the necessity of improving of the coal processing to ensure sustainable development is substantiated. The proposals have been developed on the way out of the system crisis of the Ukrainian coal industry.
