Regarding the limits of implementation of discretion in law enforcement

Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the issues of efficiency and effectiveness of judicial discretion in law enforcement activities. The criteria and the main factors of determination in this sphere are determined. The necessity of developing uniform approaches in the judicial estimation of the proportionality of power interference in the rights of citizens is established. The European law enforcement experience of legal regulation is analyzed. Specific recommendations for the application of these approaches in national legal proceedings are provided.
