REGIONAL LINGUISTIC IMAGE OF THE WORLD OF CARRIERS OF RUSSIAN INSULAR DIALECTS OF ODESSA REGION

Abstract
The article deals with the main peculiarities of the regional linguistic world image of carriers of Russian insular dialects of Odessa region. In modern linguistics the phenomenon of the regional linguistic image of the world is actively investigated on material of the Russian dialects of the main dialect massif of Russia. The Russian dialects of the South of Ukraine were not specially investigated in this aspect, but deserve special attention of linguists owing to historical conditions of their formation in a separation from maternal, mainly South Russian dialects in different linguistic surroundings. The analysis of the fragment of the linguistic world image of carriers of the Russian insular dialects on the example of names of Pets reflects the vital importance of agricultural life for the Russian immigrants, their economic and cultural relationship with Ukrainian neighbors, Bulgarians, Moldavians, and it shows detailed elaboration of household animals presented not only in Russian appellatives but also borrowings from close and distant relationship.
