Regionalization of international law and its consequences for the unification of national legislation through international treaties

Abstract
Regionalization of international law and its fragmentation have significant consequences not only for regional international legal cooperation, but also have an impact on the legislation of the states-members of regional international organizations. In recent decades, these processes not only have spread across the world, but also have acquired a new quality. The article deals with the content of the concept of regional international legal space, its characteristic features; as well the institutional and legal foundations of regional international legal spaces are investigated into. Simultaneously, special emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of institutionalized regional integration processes, which the regional international legal unification is concerned with. The article attempts to identify the ways the institutional and legal basis of the single international legal regional spaces have been created by.
