Abstract
Badzyan V.V. Regional environmental and economic features of forest land use and management. The subject of the article is theoretical and applied aspects of development of environmental and economically efficient forestry land use at national and regional level. The aim is to assess the environmental and economic consequences of irrational use of land for forestry purposes and forest at Ukrainian Polissya. The paper used analytical and dialectical synthesis method on the main socio-economic and environmental problems and economic and mathematical methods to determine the environmental and economic efficiency of forest resources and land for forestry purposes. The paper analyzes the structure of areas of land for forestry purposes. Specifically noted are not effective and not such optimal structure. The basic purpose of Forestry and grounded perspective on their changes. Analyzed regional differences in production areas and features wood in Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The necessity to determine the optimal amount of land for forestry purposes based on the consideration not only climatic, but also socio-economic and industrial-economic conditions. The connection of optimal land area for forestry purposes of optimal forest area. The dependence of forest cover in Ukraine and its regions, especially from human impacts and the economic exploitation of forest resources. Grounded for land needing reforestation priority. The conditions on afforestation of degraded and eroded land in the regions. An increase forest cover area due to afforestation are not suitable and unsuitable land such as rocky ground, sand and ravines. The expediency of further afforestation of agricultural land by land vacant lots, lawns and lands of eroded gullies. Features of reproduction of forests and afforestation. The regional timber resources in the area of Ukrainian Polissya. An increasing volume of thinning the forest and at the same time reduce the volume of sanitary cutting. Thus all the cuttings should be carried out systematically and taking into account their environmental implications. The analysis of financial and economic performance of the forestry enterprises for the period 2014-2015 years in Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Reviewed regional differences in production forestry enterprises per one employee and one hectare of land for forestry purposes. As a result reasonably basic directions for the development of forestry and Ukraine Polissya area, as well as prospects for further afforestation of agricultural land and other purposes.
