Regularities of influence of non-isothermal moisture transfer on structural and mechanical properties of wood

Abstract
Regularities of influence of non-isothermal moisture transfer on structural and mechanical properties of wood. The article presents the constructed mathematical model for determining the viscoelastic state of wood with variable moisture content, taking into account the deformations caused by the mechanism of creep sorption. The special functions of the rheological behavior of wood are determined depending on the directions of structural anisotropy in conditions of temperature and humidity change. The rheological behavior of wood across the fibers in directions depending on changes in temperature and humidity has been investigated. The functions of creep are established and the character of its behavior is evaluated in conditions of humidity change. The regularities of the relaxation of the deformation of the wood are studied. The application of the method of physical analogies for forecasting wood creep along the fibers in conditions of temperature and humidity change, which allows to predict the rheological properties of limited creep for a long time according to the results of short-term studies.
