Rehabilitacja zawodowa w warsztatach terapii zajęciowej i zakładach aktywizacji zawodowej – realizacja czy jej brak?

Abstract
The aim of participation of people with intellectual disabilities in activi¬ties in an occupational therapy workshop (OTW) or work in a vocational de¬ve¬lopment centre (VDC) is preparing them to enter in the labour market. Apart from implementing the process of social rehabilitation, that is prepara¬tion for fulfilling social roles, stimulation of a social activity and cooperation with other people, the task of the above-mentioned institutions is to conduct a vocational rehabilitation which enables people with intellectual disabilities to acquire skills related to their occupation or job. Issues contained in this article concern the specificity of manners and the effectiveness of the imple¬mentation of vocational rehabilitation in the vocational therapy workshop and vocational activation centre.
