RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMERCIAL SECURITY AND KNOW-HOW

Abstract
The article considers the essence of the notion of commercial secrets under the legislation of Ukraine and the essence of the notion of knowhow. The features of both commercial secrets and know-how are determined, the correlation of these concepts is made. The research of scientific opinions about the relation between the notion of commercial secrets and know-how is being investigated, the diversity of scientists’ views on this issue should be emphasized. Investigating the views of scholars, analyzing all the disadvantages and advantages of these positions, is developing its own view of how these two concepts relate, and argues why we agree or disagree with the opinions of scholars.
