Relationship between organizational structure and burnout among employees of Malayer,Boualisina and KordestanUnivercity

Abstract

Organizational structure and burnout are two important issues thatnowadayhave a special position in the field of organizational behavior management theories.These two topics have many common points that seem tohave mutual influence. Given the importance of these two major issues, in this study we have attempted to present a clear definition of research problem and related literature to organizational structure and burnout and examine the relationship between these concepts among employees in ShahidBeheshti University ofTehran.With regard to the purpose and nature of the subject and the hypotheses,this research is a descriptive/correlational study.Statistics population in this research is 600 personnels of ShahidBeheshti University.Using Morgan's table235employees were randomly selected as a sample.The research data collection tools are two questionnaires:Organizational structure Questionnaire with 78% alpha coefficient, and Maslach burnout Questionnaire with 86%alpha coefficient. The research results showedthat between all factors of the organizational structure and burnout there is positive and significant correlation.
