Renewing the Model of Vietnam's Economic Growth Based On Science, Technology and Innovation in the Context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

Abstract
The fourth industrial revolution has impacted powerfuly to science and technology, economic and social development. The stable economy depends on the level of national science and technology development. In Viet Nam, the transformation of a growth model based on the intensive use of natural resources into growth based on science, technology and innovation (STI) is an indispensable trend to overcome the middle income trap. This paper will clarify: (i) the content of the fourth industrial revolution (4.0), (ii) the relationship between STI and economic growth, (iii) the policy recommendations to reform Vietnam's economic growth model by appling STI in the context of the fourth industrial revolution.
