RESEARCH OF COMPETITIVENESS OF GRADUATES CONSIDERING THE REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYERS

Abstract
Introduction. The competencies of graduates of high school have to correspond to the needs of the labor market. Purpose. The aim of the study is to develop and verify the author's methodology of assessment of graduates competitiveness with considering of the requirements of employers. To achieve this goal the following objectives have been solved: analysis of existing methods of studying the competitiveness of high school graduates, identification of the key parameters to assess the competitiveness of graduates, proposition of the methods of collecting and analyzing the data needed to measure key parameters, study the competitiveness of graduates of Belarusian universities with the specialty "Marketing". Methods. The authors have used the methods of parsing, lexical and syntactic analysis, comparisons, market research methods. Results. The authors have developed methodology of assessment of graduates competitiveness, including indicators of competitiveness of educational, analytical, informational, communicational, social, personal, multiattributive professional and practical levels. In contradistinction to existing methodologies, it allows to identify both individual and group competitiveness of graduates on the basis of the requirements of enterprises and organizations to the content and level of competence and to develop the possible career strategies of graduates on the basis of Competitiveness Index. Discussion. Planned to verify the methodology on the basis of a larger volume of empirical data.
