RESEARCH OF MODES OF FUNCTIONING AND METHODS OF PROTECTION OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPLEX OF PUMPING UNIT IN EMERGENCY REGIMES

Abstract
The modes of operation of pumping installations for municipal and industrial water supply and sanitation are considered. The types and causes of emergency regimes in the operation of pumping stations are considered. Types of shut-off and control valves used at pumping stations and methods of controlling it are considered. The features and conditions for the transfer of asynchronous electric machines to the regime of capacitor braking are analyzed. The results of laboratory studies of the operation modes of a pumping unit are presented in the event of a sudden power failure. The practical possibility and purposefulness of the application of the capacitor braking of the drive asynchronous pump motor to protect the pumping station equipment from the consequences of switching off the electric power was confirmed.
