Research on the Production of Sintered Powder 316
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2012, Vol 35, Issue 4
Abstract
The 316 austenitic stainless steel powders are typically used in applications requiring good corrosion resistance, mechanical strength at high and very low temperatures, good ductility, wear resistance, associated in some cases with adequate porosity. The paper presents some experimental research on the production of sintered 316 stainless steel powders and their characterization in terms of microstructure and wear resistance.

Variation of Mechanical Characteristics for Thin Wall Tubes Processed in Ultrasonic Field
The paper presents the variation of mechanical characteristics of resistance and plasticity for thin wall tubes made of stainless steel 10TiNiCr180, processed in ultrasonic field. Decrease of mechanical characteristics o...
Particular Aspects Concerning Instability at Interface LCAK Steel- Slag (CaO-Al2O3) due to Transfer of Sulphur, Evaluated Using the Model Reichenbach-Linde Adapted
Based on the model of Reichembach and Linde, adapted to the interface in the system LCAK steel-(CaO-Al2O3) slag at temperature 1873.15K, it is shown that transfer of sulphur from steel to slag could promote interfacial M...
Influence of Sintering Temperature on the Structure of the Yttrium Based Phosphor Nanoparticles
Yttrium-based phosphor materials belonging to the class known as garnets have witnessed a strong return with the development of the first white LEDs. Among these materials, yttrium aluminum garnet doped with cerium has b...
Determination of Friction Coefficient at Sliding Indentation of Laser Cladding with Ni – Cr – B – Fe – Al Alloy
To increase resistance to wear of the surface layers made from 0.45% C steel, a multilayer deposit by powder injection with the chemical composition Cr 8.9%, 4.5% Fe, 5.1% B, 2, 4% Al, 0.6% Cu, and Ni was tested in a mol...
Corrosion of Composite Ferro-Niobium Layers in Cobalt Matrix
The ferro-niobium composite layers in cobalt matrix were obtained by cathode depositing from electrolyte solutions on steel base. The electrolyte included in its composition cobalt sulphate and cobalt chloride, boric aci...
