RESEARCH PROBLEMS THAT OCCUR DURING THE ANALYSIS OF THE WORK OF FRP-STRENGTHENED TIMBER BEAMS UNDER SUSTAINED LOADS
Journal Title: Structure and Environment - Year 2015, Vol 0, Issue 4
Abstract
A special focus was given to the variation in deformability characteristics of these materials and to the resulting processes that occur in the work of the strengthened beams. Aims and objectives of these studies were also presented together with the issues resulting from the requirement to maintain appropriate test conditions. The paper is a theoretical analysis of the problem, conducted prior to the start of preliminary studies.

THE EFFECT OF THE SOIL GRANULOMETRIC COMPOSITION ON THE FID (FREE INDUCTION DECAY) SIGNAL INTENSITY IN NMR TESTS
The influence of the soil granulation, grain diameter and the soil type on the FID signal intensity is presented. The FID signal intensity is used to determine the water content in soil sample by the use of the NMR spect...
THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION OF THE MATERIALS IN THE CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER
A new method for solving the equations of thermal conductivity materials with specific properties. This method is useful for an approximate estimate of the temperature field of materials.
THERMAL COMFORT IN INTELLIGENT BUILDINGS
The paper presents the issue of thermal comfort conditions with regard to intelligent buildings. First the principles of thermal comfort are discussed, namely the parameters affecting the human perception of the best ind...
THE STATISTICAL MODELS FOR INTERPRETING THE RESULTS OF PARCELS AREA VERIFICATION IN INTEGRATED ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM IACS
A key element of the system IACS is the verification of the parcel area covered by direct subsidies. Control measurements are made by FOTO method, and in a small part by the direct inspection. Statistical methods are use...
THE PROPERTIES OF CEMENT MORTAR WITH NATURAL ZEOLITE AND SILICA FUME ADDITIONS
This article reports the results of a study evaluating the effect of natural zeolite and silica fume on the properties of cement mortar. The study used binders in which 20% of portland cement was replaced with the pozzol...
