REVIEW OF EXISTING SALIVA SENSORS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

Abstract

This article discusses existing human saliva sensors and their applications. Human saliva is a unique biological material that can contain a lot of useful information about human health. Various biomarkers in saliva can be used to diagnose various diseases, including oral diseases, immune disorders, infectious diseases, diabetes, cancer, and others. Currently, there are many human saliva sensors on the market designed to collect, analyze and interpret biomarkers contained in human saliva. The latest achievements in the development and application of these sensors in medicine, biomedical research and sports are also described.
