Abstract
Ayurveda is the traditional ancient Indian system of health science. 5000 years old practice focus on harmonizing the body with nature. The holistic science is an ultimate blessing for the humanity. Concept of marma is one among them. Marmas are the conglomerations of structures like mamsa, sira, snayu, asthi and sandhi. Knowledge regarding marma is considered as half the knowledge of surgical science in Ayurveda. Injury to marma though slight will result in severe pain, deformity sometimes even death. Hence they should treat with ultimate care. Manibandhamarma is located in the wrist region of upper limbs. It is rujakara as per prognostic classification and sandhi marma as per structural classification. Trauma to the marma leads to kuntatha and ruja of manibandha sandhi.
