Revision of the possibilities of the models of equilibrium prices and outputs in the theory of intersectoral balance
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue 4
Abstract
Based on the performed analysis of numerous publications containing the models of equilibrium prices and outputs in the theory of intersectoral balance, we have proved that the use of transposed matrices of direct cost in such models is unreasonable and leads to serious mistakes. We have proposed correct systems of equations connecting equilibrium prices and outputs in the data structure “expenditure–output.” We have shown in the general form that such systems belong to the class of homogeneous systems of linear algebraic equations, and their matrices are singular and have ranks smaller by one than the matrix dimensions. It has been established that such systems give degenerate solutions. With the use of these properties, from the continual set of solutions of the refined models of equilibrium prices and outputs, we have isolated in the general form a class of their solutions that can be applied for determining practically acceptable values of these indices. We have proposed an algorithm of such determination that provides for the broadening of the structure of data “expenditure–output.” Our analytic investigations are illustrated by an example of the calculation of equilibrium prices and outputs based on the tables “expenditure–output” in Ukraine in 2012.

Determination of the optimal conditions of the work of a Venturi scrubber for gas cleaning from solid particles
We have established that one should search for the optimal conditions of particle catching in a polydisperse three-phase flow, which is realized in a Venturi scrubber, in a seven-dimensional space b, c, ugt, ui0, xst, L1...
Application of the method of complex forecasting for the determination of long-term demand for energy resources
We describe the specific features of applying the complex method of forecasting of the long-term demand for energy resources, in particular, coal, natural gas, and electric energy. These features lie in taking into accou...
Application of systems analysis in the field of management of radioactive waste
We substantiated the expediency of using applied systems analysis to study the management of radioactive waste in Ukraine. We adapted the procedures of such analysis and determined the succession of its performing. We pr...
Optimal structure of coal production for TPP of Ukraine regarding imports
Current situation in energy sector of the country, and selection of ways to improve the reliability and efficiency of supply and consumption of fuel caused the development of mathematical techniques for selecting optimal...
Calculation of liquid cooling in film cooling towers with a profiled sprinkler surface
We have developed a method for calculating the degree of liquid cooling in film cooling towers with a profiled sprinkler surface under the conditions of quiescent air and intense blowing about the water film. The method...
