Risk assessment of variety agents identified in the implementation of the program standard and selective advanced veterinary and sanitary control of food products and feed in 2014

Abstract

The aim of work was to assess the risks of different agents identified during implementation of the Program standard and selective advanced veterinary and sanitary control of food products in 2014. Define the different agents identified during the implementation of the Program standard and selective advanced veterinary and sanitary control of food products in 2014 occurs validated screening and confirmatory methods. Of the 8 799 samples of the imported goods that were tested with a high risk for human health (Category I), 102 (1,15%) cases revealed inconsistencies, namely the organoleptic and ichthyopathological indicators (Nibelіnіае, Anisakidae) — 21 (0,4%) the consignments of meat and fish. Of the 4 335 samples of imported goods that were tested with a high risk for human health (Category II) to 64 (was 1.47%) cases revealed inconsistencies, including, for microbiological indicators (E. coli, pathogenic microorganisms, including Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes). Of the 4 894 samples of imported goods that were subjected to the study with a low risk to the health of humans and animals (Category III) 61 (1,25%) cases revealed inconsistencies, including 12 (0,31%) batches of animal feed by acid and peroxide value.Thanks to the work carried out in 2014 by the State veterinary and phytosanitary service of Ukraine has not admitted mass poisoning of people and the emergence of infectious and parasitic diseases among people and animals. Given the large number of inconsistencies detected during the selective advanced veterinary and sanitary control and risk from contact with chemical, microbiological, ichthyopathological, sanitary hygiene agents in humans and animals and the consequences, which is not admitted, and to ensure the country food security work in this direction will be continued.
