Rola kobiet we władzach gmin wiejskich

Abstract
Celem artykułu jest ocena pozycji kobiet w organach władzy w gminach wiejskich w Polsce. W opracowaniu zastosowano koncepcję „szklanego sufitu”. Z badań wynika, że w krajach UE udział kobiet pełniących funkcje liderów władz podstawowych JST jest niski. W Polsce jest on niższy od średniego w UE. Ponadto, jest mało zróżnicowany dla różnego rodzaju gmin, co sugeruje inne przyczyny tego stanu niż specyfika środowiska wiejskiego. W gminach wiejskich obserwuje się znaczący udział kobiet na stanowiskach drugoplanowych jak zastępca wójta czy sekretarz gminy oraz dominujący na stanowisku skarbnika
