W artykule zostały zawarte treści dotyczące instytucji negocjacji policyjnych ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem specyfiki ich prowadzenia w sytuacjach związanych z przestępczością zorganizowaną. Opisano podstawy prawne, historię i organizację negocjacji policyjnych w Polsce. Dokonano klasyfikacji sytuacji negocjacyjnych związanych z działalnością zorganizowanych grup i związków przestępczych.
