ROLE OF TRAINING GAMES AS INTERACTIVE METHOD OF ENHANCING FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES OF STUDENTS AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract
The article discusses the relevance of using the interactive method of teaching to enhance the acquisition of a foreign language at the higher education insitution. The article focuses on the training game as a particular element of the interactive method, which makes language acquisition closer to real communication environment. As training games engage the subconscious level of language learning, a foreign language turns into the inner linguistic experience. Important factors of the training game are psychological comfort and the situation of success. The article stresses the combination of the interactive method and traditional structural & functional methodology to enhance the acquisition of a foreign language.
