Romantyczne górnictwo. Między mistyką, nauką a przemysłem
Journal Title: Wiek XIX. Rocznik Towarzystwa Literackiego im. Adama Mickiewicza - Year 2015, Vol 0, Issue
Abstract
The article is devoted to the representations of civilisational issues especially associated with the mining and geology noticeable in Polish Romantic literature. The article shows the specificity of the problem – which is far from the reality of a modernizing (not without struggle) country – composed of ignoring the matters of civilisation and introducing mystical visions and the history of martyrdom connected with the mining.
