Abstract
World organic agriculture from year to year demonstrates rather active growth dynamics, which is not least due to the positive impact on the balance of the agricultural production sphere, especially on the ecosystem of soils. Many years of the world practice shows us that organic agricultural production is one of the most promising and innovative methods of agriculture, which allows not only to ensure the process of conservation and reproduction of soil fertility, but also to create sustainable multifunctional agricultural systems that are able to ensure balanced development of the land resource sector for present and future generations. Intensification of domestic agricultural production, focused mainly on economic efficiency, jeopardized the ecological state of agricultural land and neglected the social goals of agriculture. The goal of the study is to reveal the essence of organic agriculture in terms of ensuring balanced land use. The materials of the article are based on the study of the positive impact of organic agriculture on the balance of land use and land resources in general. The research methods were based on the system approach and dialectical method of cognition of organic land use principles in agroproduction, taking into account retrospective analysis, monographic method, synthesis and analysis methods. A retrospective analysis of the study of soil fertility management systems led to the conclusion that organic methods unambiguously improve the stability of the soil ecosystem, promoting healthy soil environment by enriching organic substances and increasing microbial activity, in comparison with conventionally managed fertility. The interrelation between organic farming and soil quality is generalized to improve its effect on fertility and integration scheme of the influence of organic practices on the stability and health of the soil is proposed. Analyzed results of recent studies underscore the potential of organic agriculture to increase the amount of carbon captured by soil, which will help reduce the root cause of climate change. Practical recommendations for supporting and restoring soil health in organic farming systems are given. It is substantiated that organic agriculture already provides many key elements of sustainability, this system continues to develop, and now it is the best system available to society to ensure a sustainable future. If one looks at agriculture as an integral system that takes into account a wide range of balanced indicators and goes beyond profit, the argument for the introduction of organic farming systems is reliable, since conventional agricultural systems are not suitable in the long term.
