Розглянуто стан виробництва органічної овочевої продукції в Україні та світі. Визначено проблеми розвитку органічного руху, причини, що стримують ефективний розвиток органічного овочевого ринку. Викладено основні моменти Концепції органічного виробництва, яку розроблено в Інституті овочівництва і баштанництва НААН та її наукове забезпечення.
