Sanitary condition of oak stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area

Abstract
The dynamics of sanitary condition index and dead standing volume in pure and mixed oak stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area is investigated. The oak trees distribution on the plots by Kraft classes and categories of the sanitary condition is analyzed. The dependence between the index of the sanitary condition of oak stands and the share of the associate species in their composition are revealed. The priority of forest management directed at the formation of stable oak plantations in northern Steppe are confirmed.
