Sectoral diversity of financial liquidity of enterprises

Abstract
Financial liquidity is condition of the company’s proper functioning. The financial liquidity has a huge impact on company’s survival on the market and perspective of its development. This article mainly focuses on diversity of financial liquidity depending on sectors where a given enterprise operates. The analysis confirms that the values of indicators from area of financial liquidity are strongly diverse between sectors. This difference cannot be eliminated by the correction of liquidity indicators by time indicators as proposed by the literature. Additionally, the study shows that managers of the most profitable stock companies create values of indicators from area of financial liquidity which are significantly different than recommended in the literature of the subject.
