Selected aspects of the behaviour of flexible pavements in thermoviscoelasticity material models
Journal Title: Roads and Bridges - Drogi i Mosty - Year 2010, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
The presented paper shows the selected aspects of the dynamic and thermal impacts on the flexible pavement in thermoviscoelastic models. Paper includes theoretical modelling issues based on authors own works as well as the analysis of results of calculations. Furthermore the authors draw conclusions from this analysis that could be used in the practice in design and diagnostic of flexible and semi-rigid pavements.

Parameters of load transverse distribution across bridges
The paper concerns analysis of two classic bridge span models i.e. flat grillage and orthotropic plate in order to determine usefulness of characteristic parameters of this models for creation of load transverse distribu...
Methodology for determining traffic volume for the analysis of roads efficiency
The present paper outlines the results of analyses of two hundred highest hourly volumes in a year, used for determining designed hourly volumes DHV to test road efficiency. Basing on them, three equations of the power f...
Design of geosynthetic reinforcements for earth structures in line with regulations of Eurocode 7
The paper presents design rules of geosynthetic reinforcements based on the regulation of EC 7 with the adaptation to the Polish conditions are presented. Especially, the recommendations given in the Instruction 429/2007...
Influence analysis of counterweight type used in static plate test on identified parameters of pavement courses and subgrade
The requirements of the current standards and specifications do not give clear guidance as to the design of counterweight during the static plate load test. For example, there are no detailed requirements concerning the...
Application of machine learning to determine properties of concretes modified with addition of coal ash
In the paper two algorithms of the machine learning are used in order to determine the durability of concrete modified with circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) ash from hard coal and from brown coal. The rapid c...
