Selected information on flight simulators - main requirements, categories and their development, production and using for flight crew training in the both Slovak Republic and Czech Republic conditions
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2012, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to present the selected information concerning the flight simulators. After some information from the general and historical point of views, the authors are focusing on main requirements for the flight simulators and their categorisation from different aspects, including outline of principal international documents published by ICAO, EASA (covering JAR regulation) and FAA referring to and/or dealing with the use of Flight Simulators Training Devices (FSTD) and technical and operational requirements in this area for aeroplanes. The concluding chapters of the paper introduce appropriate information on the development and manufacturing organizations in the flight simulators area and the using of this equipment in the both Slovak Republic and Czech Republic.

STUDY OF SOLID STATE LASER PASSIVE OPTICAL Q-SWITCHING OPERATION REGIME (Part 1)
This paper is the first of a four series treating, theoretically with experimental comparison, the issue of solid state laser passive optical Q-switching regime. In this first paper the technique of solid state lasers pa...
Two phase flow models in DxUNSp code platform
The aim of this work is to find an efficient implementation for a two phase flow model in an existing URANS CFD code platform (DxUNSp), initially based on unsteady URANS equations with a k-ε turbulence model and various...
Integral Method for Structural Analysis of Beams with Bending-Torsion Coupling
This paper deals with structural static or stability analysis of straight beams, when the bending-torsion coupling is considered. A practical case is the lateral buckling analysis of high cross-section beams which involv...
Tribological aspects of dynamic seals with O-rings used in aircraft hydraulic equipment
Depending on the operating parameters, a dynamic sealing system with O-rings can be in different friction modes: dry, limit, mixed or fluid. Modification of the friction mode occurs throughout the operating life, but als...
