Journal Title: Науковий вісник Міжнародного гуманітарного університету. Серія «Філологія» - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue 2
Abstract
The article studies self-similarity formulas, the conceptual fractal “Ireland” and invariant character of deflected word-forms with a view to identifying strategies of translation “Finnegans Wake” by James Joyce into languages with the Cyrillic alphabet. Self-similarity needs coordinating strategic translation decisions which can be implemented throughout the whole text of this work of fiction.
