SEMANTIC TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE ARTICTIC LANGUAGE OF M. STELMAKH

Abstract
The main scope of research in this paper focuses on stylistic particularities of the use of phraseological units in the novel “Duma pro tebe” (“Ballad of You”) by M. Stelmakh. The paper investigates the problem of semantic transformation in the imaginative literature texts. The influence of the context and speaking situation on the changes in the phraseologial unit’s meaning is shown on a variety of specific examples.
