Abstract
Chivu Stoica, a forgotten character Nowadays, nobody ever speaks about Chivu Stoica. His character is ignored by both mass media and historians. But generally, there are two major events that made him famous: his taking part in the Griviţa railway workers’ strike, in February 1933, and respectively the ensuing trial, when he has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
